We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and designing test scripts, executing test scripts, managing the defect lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all user expectations are met throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed test scripts and scenarios based on epics & user stories/acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and technical requirements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, including functional, regression, system integration and End to End, testing.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability across multiple enterprise applications and data processing systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute End to End test plans to ensure all parts of the applications are behaving as expected in ‘real life’ scenarios.
  • Develop, maintain and execute regression test suites to ensure software still behaves as expected.
  • Ensure user expectations are met by actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), supporting stakeholders, and addressing feedback effectively.
  • Document, track, and analyse defects throughout the testing lifecycle, collaborating with QA Mgr, PM’s, external third parties, developers, product owners, and business analysts to drive efficient resolutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure early defect detection.
  • Perform data validation and integrity checks through rigorous ETL testing for system integrations and migrations, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide detailed test execution reports and insights, ensuring transparency in test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics across all tested systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices by following structured test methodologies and maintaining clear documentation of test artifacts.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, identifying opportunities to enhance testing efficiency, defect prevention, and software quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive post-release and post-implementation testing to validate system stability, functionality, and performance across different environments.

Person Specification

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience/Qualifications

Essential: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing
  • Proficiency in using tracking tools such as Dev Ops, JIRA, Bugzilla
  • Experience testing CRM systems
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Desirable:
  • Automated testing creation and execution.
  • Experience in data migration ETL testing.
